I have a one year old Jack Russell, and he has been vomiting for about two weeks now. However, he doesn’t act sick...still eats, drinks, and is playful. But he doesn’t hold food down for long after he eats. Can you give me an idea of what I can do? Thank you.

This last week Molly has had a lot of table scraps and ham bones left over from our meal. Two nights in a row, she had runny stool in the laundry room. Molly never soils the home, and I was wondering if her diet this last week is a cause. We are not feeding her table scraps any longer and I am getting up at night to let her out to do her business. Her stool is still slightly runny, but more formed than 3 nights ago. She doesn't seem to interested in eating.

My dog is a healthy Border Collie mix, however lately her stool is sometimes very soft. In one day she may have a normal stool and later that day, a very soft one. She is very excitable and sometimes I think that this contributes to the sudden change in her stool.

My 6 year old Dachshund has been having loose stools lately and doing them in the house, which is highly abnormal for him. He's in very good health, has his teeth cleaned regularly, all his shots are up to date and he's very active, despite his stool issue. Can I give him over the counter medication, such as Pepto-Bismol to help with the stool issue, or would you recommend another? Note: I have another Dachshund (1.5 years) that isn't affected by this stool problem. Also, this event started a week after we (dogs included) returned from a trip from Mexico. He drank bottled water while we were there. Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

Could you please discuss bloat. Are there certain types of dogs who are prone to this condition? What are the warning signs? Are there foods to avoid this? Or maybe certain precautions before and after meals.
