Buffy is a five year old cockapoo that is usually very outgoing and energetic. Lately she is sleeping a lot and just not acting herself. I should probably mention that Buffy is very spoiled and used to getting all the attention. We now have a baby bird that is requiring a lot of my attention. I am hoping that the only thing wrong with Buffy is that she is a little jealous and with time, she will be ok. I am worried that there is something else wrong with her. Should she see a vet or do you think it is just jealousy? She is eating and going to the bathroom normally.

My puppy is a Cockapoo 10 mos. old. I keep her in the laundry/pantry room at night. When it is time for bed I usually carry her in there, thus some nights she runs from me. Is there a way of retraining her to come willingly?

My black lab hits his tail on everything when he is excited, which is all the time. His tail has a gash in it from hitting it on things. When he wags his tail, blood goes everywhere. It is very painful to him also. Any suggestions on what to do. I have tried bandages, etc., but he bites them off. Thanks.

We have a 11 mo. old yorkie. He is never distructive until we leave him alone when we go to work. We leave him in our large bathroom with plenty of toys but when we get home has chewed anything he can find and soils on the carpet. He clearly seems to have separation anxiety but how do we help him with this problem. We love him very much and hate when he is unhappy--any suggestions?

The one thing my dog needs is exercise - but she pulls so hard even as a puppy I got bursitis in my elbow. I've tried multiple leashes, stopping contantly to calm her and now I just don't walk her but I would like to - also she goes ballistic when we go past another dog. I know she would do well with her weight if I could just find a way to give her some exercise. Any suggestions?

I adopted my dog from the Humane Society when he was about 6 months old. He is now a year and 2 months. Every time we give him a rawhide bone he gets very protective and aggressive, he's already growled at me twice. What can I do to show him I'm his leader?
